South Korea is not a popular destination among Western people. Other countries, such as Japan or China, are most popular destinations. However, my interest in this small Asian country started many years before I could visit it in person. Everything started in Spain. Quite weird, right? During my Erasmus I met one of my best friends, Silvia, and she was so passionate about Korea that slowly made me curious about it as well. I started to meet Koreans and got to know more and more about Korean culture and traditions. When Silvia moved to South Korea, I promised myself I would visit her and so I did. I travelled for three weeks all around the country all by myself by bus, train and plane and I lived an amazing experience. People were great, food was delicious and I also did some very good shopping!
